Notwithstanding
the fact that no one can help a person stress but he himself. However, here we
can throw some strategies and tips that can help you to overcome stress.
First and foremost you must understand
the Source of Stress. Keep a note about the situations or patterns that cause
stress to identify why stress triggers you. There are different
categories of stress which one must determine
if the stress is external like work pressure or internal like self-imposed expectations.
Secondly, you must Practice Relaxation Techniques like
breathing. Practice to Inhale deeply
through your nose for 4 counts, holds for 4 counts, and exhale for 4 counts. Do
Meditation and practice focusing on the present moment and muscle relaxation to
release physical tension.
Thirdly,you must adopt Healthy Lifestyle and Habits by doing Exercise Regularly because Physical
activity releases endorphins, improving mood. Try to Eat Balanced Meals since proper nutrition helps regulate energy
and emotions. The most important thing is to get proper and quality sleep
between 7 to 9 hours of deep or restful sleep.
Fourthly, time management is very important by
prioritize your tasks. You can do this by using to-do lists or planners. Break
your tasks into steps like focusing
on small, manageable parts instead of the whole.
Find some people to support you
and talk to trusted people by sharing problems with friends, family, or a
therapist. This can provide relief. If you feel that your stress is
unmanageable go for counseling or therapy.
Try
to engage yours time on hobbies, creative outlets, or anything that brings you
joy and try to think something good in life ahead.
Avoid consumption of unhealthy and useless drinks like alcohol,caffeine
or any intoxicating drinks. If you
consume or drink intoxicating thing like alcohol will bring more stress to you,
so you must cope all these to avoid more stress
Try
to promote a calm atmosphere. Don’t watch negative news or social media if they
contribute to stress. Avoid all such things.Go for short walks or practice
stretching at home or during work hours.
Last
but not the least, always be kind to yourself and celebrate small victories and
progress which comes in your life.
